Yes that's right.... the OC Fair is back in town and I'm loving every minute of it!
I'm not sure why, but there is just something about the fair that puts a smile on my face and makes me feel like a kid in a candy store when I'm there! I love the rides, the deep fried food, the impossible fair games, and the cute little animals.
well this year my sweet husband promised to take me and true to his word we got to go last night with another couple, my good friend Corey and his wonderful wife Laura! They are such a fun couple to hang out with, and lucky them they got to see the Mia who LOVES the fair. i think they thought i was a little bit crazy but it's okay because i kind of am!
Now for those who haven't been to the fair yet this year, i just want to let you know how freakin expensive it's gotten this year, i mean $9 to get in $20 for 40 ride tickets (average ride is 9 tickets) and then just the food is crazy expensive, $18 for two funnel cakes WHO KNEW! but really you can't go to the fair and not eat a funnel cake or go on rides...... right?!?
well.... that leads me into a little story of funnel cakes.....Bill was making fun of me because it was just this past year that i had my 1st ever big mac, he just couldn't believe i wasn't a full fledged American. turns out Laura was and still is in the same boat as i was. but then the events turned, yes i learned last night that Corey has NEVER had a funnel cake. STOP THE PRESS!!!! so in true bill and Mia form we took pictures to document that Corey now is a true blooded American, all that's left is getting his wife a Big Mac.
Besides the expensive night we had, it sure was fun time, good old fun times. like every year that I've gone to the fair with bill he didn't leave me empty handed, yes my hubby pants won me a cute little stuffed elephant, he always wins me a little something and i just love that about him!!!! But because the fair was a little over priced this year we had to borrow the 4 left over tickets from Corey and Laura to play the game. So really Laura and I share joint custody of Ella the Elephant! hahaha!
