When I heard that a few of my buddies were driving out to Vegas... I had to take advantage of that and take a quick trip to Vegas to visit my girlfriend Meagan and her husband MJ.
I met Meagan in hair school almost 5 years ago! Crazy how times flies. The last time I saw Meagan was at her wedding which was 3 years ago! We've always kept in touch, but I was super excited to spend some time with her!
So off to Vegas I went.
Meagan and MJ have a beautiful home out there in Vegas, I didn't get any pictures of their home because as luck would have it I waited til the last day and my camera broke!!!
Meagan and I got to try out this new cafe for breakfast, and it didn't disappoint.. We both got pretty simple plates but it was still fantastic. Speaking of fantastic, Meagan made an awesome dinner saturday night. briskit with homemade mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus.
While Meagan was working I spent the day with my buddies who I drove out with. We hit up NY NY hotel rode the roller coaster (which I love by the way) I took a stab at those claw machines and won a Green Monkey! I was super excited... I've never be able to win at those things. My Buddy Adam won a pink monkey after a few FAILED attempts to win me a bigger stuff animal. I think I did better at those machines than he did! HAHAHA
While we walked around NY NY I met some interesting gentlemen... MEN in KILTS... I'm not sure if they were there for a bacholer party or what, but knowing me... I had to ask them for a photo opt. And that's exactly what I did.
At one point after hanging out by the pool, I decided to stop by Excalibur and take a photo with "the King" Elvis... who knew that the King is alive and well....only in Vegas.
I'm not a gambler by any means.. I usually just stand and watch, but Adam found a game I think i'm going to start playing... Casino WAR, yes thats right WAR. like the old card game, who knew you could sit at a table chat it up and play war and actually win!
Last but not least. You can't leave Vegas without sightseeing... and the one hotel I've yet to visit was PARIS... So of course the morning we were leaving I dragged them to Paris and we had Crepes for breakfast! yummy!!
