Today Bill and I had a lunch date with some of our favorite ppl, David & Kelly and their two little "frogs" Lucy and Chuck. We met up at Ruby's downtown Huntington at the end of the pier. It was so much fun getting to spend time with them. After lunch we walked the pier took some pictures and then walked main street just window shoppping. It was a wonderful afternoon!

A Week in Boston...

For a family vacation this year we traveled out to Boston to visit Anneke & Kris. It as a fantastic trip, we got to see the many sights of Boston and the surrounding area.

Aug 3
The first day that we got there we walked around the coast of Plymouth, saw the historic Plymouth Rock, boarded the Mayflower and visited a little "London" shop. That shop I believe was Jenny's favorite part of the WHOLE trip!
Aug 4
Next we ventured out to Cape Cod. We went to see the coast and lighthouses that they have out there. We ended up at the Chatham Light house where there have been a few great white shark sightings. We were kind of disappointed when we didn't see any fins in the water... maybe next time. After the "Cape" we took a quick car ride over to Providence, Rhode Island and checked out the Mall and state building.
Aug 5
On Thursday we went to Salem, Ma quite the interesting town. We took a tour about the Salem witch hunts. The tour was pretty interesting it reminded me of the play The Crucible . Next we went to "The House of Seven Gables" home and the birth place of Nathaniel Hawthorne.
Aug 6
Friday we spent the whole day in Boston. We took a tour of the USS Constitution (upper deck only) then we did a city tour on "boston duck tours" that was awesome, we boarded a WWII "DUKW" and went on land and water, We had Jason the Argonaut, he was a blast and even let me drive the "duck". We went to Fenway Park. Boston was a pretty cool city.

Once back in plymouth Mom, Dad, Elise, Jen & I took walking ghost tour of the graveyard. The best part was the family that was on the tour with us. They had a younger son and he was cracking us up. He was so goofy.
Aug 7
Saturday the whole family ventured out to Marthas Vineyard, We took the ferry over to Oak Bluffs Harbor. Marthas Vineyard is beautiful and I can see why the Presidents like to vaction here. We also got to see all the "gingerbread" houses which was very neat. A fun fact, Marthas Vineyard was where the movie "Jaws" was filmed.
Aug 8
I flew back home in the evening on sunday but before I left we went to church there in plymouth. The ward/branch was so nice and welcoming. The Branch President's daughter was very nice to me, she took me to her class and told me all about herself.
It was a great trip and I really enjoyed spending the time with my family.
