Aprons!

This is the Cutest Apron i have EVER seen!

My mom, sister and i went to knotts berry farm this past saturday, to do some wedding stuff and i came upon this.....

CupCake Apron

I had to buy it. ever since Callie blogged about aprons i've been wanting a really cute one, so i thought i should just make one. me and my mom sew together all the time and need projects.

well after finding this little gem, i no longer have to sew one myself (but i'm sure i still will) after all Bill does do most of the cooking... he needs one, he's so messy in the kithen! That's what makes him such a great cook!

a MUST read

The Five People You Meet in Heaven
This book did not make the list for my Book-Club, but I had to check it out anyway.

I'm somewhat of a fast reader (in lehman's terms... i have a lot of free time) so i needed a book to read in between this month and next months book.

This book was truly amazing and inspiring. I read it in one sitting (4 hours) i just couldn't put it down. The message in this book will change the way we look at our own lives and the lives of others.

Eddie is the main character, and there is nothing extraordinaire about this 83 year old man. He's the head maintenance person at Ruby Point Amusement Park. The Book begins with his death, and leads him into the beginning of his travel though heaven, meeting 5 very pivotal figures from his life here on earth.

With each person, he learns a lesson about life and the importance behind every action.

If you haven't picked up a good book lately, i highly suggest sitting down with this one, Even if you don't believe there is a heaven, this book may fill your soul with peace and calm. For every person heaven may be different.

Good Bye 2008... HELLOOO 2009!

Happy New Year!

As 2008 ends... Bill and I find ourselves thinking.. wow this year has flown by! To ring in the New Year Bill and I started the evening with me yelling at him to get ready and stop playing his new Xbox that "Santa" brought him for christmas.

Once we were ready to get the show on the road, we headed over to Greg and Martha's house for their Fabulous New Years Eve Party! I love going to Their house for New Years because it is always so much Fun!

There was great food, (the mini wienies were by far the best) Drinks, and Company! We started the evening there with a game of shuffle board, then precided to go and play BlackJack. I have to say even with Greg dealing.... I won some big money :0)
Unfortunatly we had to head out a little earlier than i wanted to because we were to meet Joey and John (his roomie) At O'Malley's in Seal Beach. There we rang in the New Year with Kisses!

Eagle Court of Honor

Nick made Eagle Scout!
That's Right now both my Brothers are Eagle Scouts. I'm so Proud of them! Nick's Court of Honor was really fun. All the Sisters, his girlfriend, and family friend sang "America the Beautiful" as part of the Program. Also Bill was lucky enought to give a small speech acting on behalf of the Department. He did a great job!
