Bithdays!!!

This month we celebrated a few birthdays!!!

August 18th-

Jenny my little sister the baby of the family turned Sweet 16! I can still remember when my parents brought her home from the hospital. She was "my" little baby.

Elise my other younger sister did a wonderful job at throwing Jenny a surprise birthday party! They had so much food friends and cake! It really was a great time and the best part was that Jenny had no idea! (unfortunately i didn't get any pictures...)

August 24th-

Lea my best friend since the beginning of time.... we not that long but long enough (23 yrs) celebrated her birthday in fashion!

Amanda and I throw together a great surprise dinner party for her at one of her favorite places. California Pizza Kitchen. It was a lot of fun and i think she made out like a bandit.

DockWeiler Beach

Saturday Mama De (Martha) and I went down to the beach to meet up with Lani and Robert who were camping out there for the weekend. It was a really nice day. We took our bikes and went on a ride down to Marina Del Rey. Lets just say my legs and Butt were hurting last night in bed!

We rode about 8 miles. After the bike ride we went back to the trailer were Robert cooked up so tri tip (that was delicious)and had dinner. Martha brought her famous pasta salad and i brought my favorite jello cream cheese dessert. After dinner we went down to the beach and put just our feet in, took some pictures and just enjoyed the sun setting.

Back at "camp" we ended up playing "pass the pig" and "golf" (a card game) for a few hours. Then me and Martha headed home. it was such a nice day!

Every year our church goes to girls camp. It's a place for the girls to bond with each other, learn about nature, and to gain and strengthen their testimonies.

This years theme was...."Bloom Where You're Planted." Each of the wards picked a flower to be represented by.

I was lucky enough to be able to go to girls camp this year. Our ward had a great group of girls (10) who all got along and involved each other in whatever they were doing. Tami Walk and Karen Eury were nice enough to come along with me as leaders. I love both of these ladies, I was so glad I got to experience this journey with such wonderful Women.

No Doubt...

Saturday Lea and I went to go see our favorite band NO DOUBT! It was an awesome concert. Paramore and The Sounds opened for No Doubt. I've never heard of The Sounds but they were pretty good. Paramore was awesome (i'm sure bill was jealous)!

The show was awesome! It was so much fun just hanging out with Lea and seeing one of our all time favorite bands reunite and play an amazing show!!!

Lou....

I love this little girl! On saturday morning i drove up to spend the day at David and Kelly's house. We BBQ hamburgers and just hung out. I always love going out to see them because it's just so much fun and Lil Lou cracks me up. I can't believe how smart this little girls is! She knows so many words... but one of her favorites is "mia" of course! I mean i am her favorite! when Davy put her down for her nap all she kept saying was..."mia...mia..mia" like i was suppose to come and get her so she wouldn't have to go to bed.. SO CUTE!
