Anderson Family Christmas Party

I always love getting together with family, one of my favorite times of year is Christmas because of that reason. I love having all the aunts, uncles, and cousins around. This year was a little different. Not that many of us could make the annual Anderson Christmas party, even though it was smaller than usual it was still a lot of fun.

We had some very tasty desserts and appetizers along with the best part of the evening The WHITE ELEPHANT gift exchange. It never fails to deliver laughs, and by far this year was not exception!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Family and Friends! This christmas was a very fun year even though half of my siblings were not in town with us, it still was special. Bill and I got up in the morning and exchanged presents, he made out like a bandit and I was truly spoiled by my husband he got me Castle season 2 and the most beautiful ring...(I guess hinting for the past 6 months paid off... hahaha) After breakfast we got ready and headed over to my parents were my Brother Nick called from the mission home. It was so great to hear from him, he sounds so mature!

After spending the morning and early afternoon at my parents we headed over to Bill's Sister's house. We snacked on some food and played a ton of rounds of Price is Right on the wii. My sister-in-law Kristin won most of the rounds. It was such an enjoyable afternoon hanging out with Kristin, Don, and Daniel, we ended up staying way longer than planned.

We ended the evening at my parents again for Christmas Dinner. It was a delicious meal with great company. to end the evening we took about 20 pictures of the whole group but i think we only got one or two were everyone is looking and smiling at the camera, needless to say it sure was fun trying to get the group/family picture. memories we will all cherish

Santa's Coming to Town

Mia, Jen, Santa & Elise
Since this christmas it was only going to be the 3 of us in town, Anneke and Kris were staying in Boston, Gerry and Nikki were in Ohio, and Nick is on his mission in Mississippi; I thought it would be fun to have a picture taken with my two "little" sisters and santa.

They thought I was a little crazy and a little too old to sit on santa's lap but none the less I got them to go with me and I know years from now were are totally going to love looking back at this picture and be so glad we did it!

Holiday Party

Last night Brian, one of Bill's very close friends had a holiday/Christmas party in the harbor the same night Huntington Harbor has their annual boat parades. It was catered with Mexican food and about anything you could think to drink. There were a few of Bill's co-workers there with their significant other, it was a great party just filled with good company and great fun. At one point we all got into Brian's parents boat and cruised around the harbor looking at all the beautifully decorated houses for Christmas.

Baby Emma

Gift Table
The Internet is a funny thing, recently I got in contact with an old elementary school friend and this past weekend I was able to go to her baby shower. My friend Jennifer is having a baby girl they are naming her Emma (so cute right). The shower was beautiful, it was a luncheon at the Mission Viejo Golf Course.

I'm so excited to for Jen to have this baby, I can't wait to meet the little bundle of joy! I'm sure she is going to be just as beautiful as her momma.
