Finding the Perfert Tree

Bill and I decided that this year we would go for a real tree but a smaller one, space is tight and we didn't want a huge tree towering over us.

We got ourselves a 5ft tree and it seemed pretty big to me when we brought it home but once it was up and decorated it didn't seem that tall at all.

I love the season of Christmas, the smell of a fresh pine tree in the home marks the beginning... now on to all the wrapped presents under the tree and the two little stocking hanging from the hearth.

ThanksGiving and Dad's Birthday

This year not only did we get to celebrate thanksgiving as a family but also my Dad's birthday, which fell on Thanksgiving. It was the usual suspects, Mom, Dad Jen, Elise Bill and I along with Grandma & Grandpa plus my uncle Steve his girlfriend Marsha and my brother Gerry with his wife Nikki came down.

My parents made the delicious feast. We had turkey and two kinds of stuffing, green beans and peas, Hawaiian rolls, candied yams, corn bread, homemade mash potatoes. For dressert we had pumpkin pie, chocolate pudding pie and lots and lots of ice cream. of course we had french vanilla because that's my dad's favorite!

Today one of my best and oldest friends got married today. I was lucky enough to be apart of their big day! It came together so nicely and from what I could tell everyone had a really great time.

TURKEY BOWL lll

The annual police turkey bowl was today and I'm so proud of Bill and FVPD they played so hard and even won a game this year against Tustin. They were out there having fun and had great attitudes. Good Job FVPD!

H-Town Baby!

One of Bill's best friends live in Houston, Tx. Bill and I decided to take a long weekend and go out and see Amy her Husband Erik and their new baby boy Jaxon. The trip was alot of fun and pretty interesting. We got to enjoy some really good southern food, check out the big Ren Fest in Houston and we even made it out to Louisiana were we actually saw gators in the wild. That was awesome!
