Visitors from OHIO part ll

Tuesday was the day we've all been looking forward to. DISNEYLAND!!!! Martha becky lani robert lexy mia bill ravyn lea and tim was everyone who went to disneyland. it's was kind of funny because lexy didn't let lani and robert sit together cuz she was riding all the rides with lani. Ravyn was the same way with me and bill, she told bill he doesn't get to ride with mia cuz she's the only riding with mia. funny little girls. i was surprised at some of the rides the girls went on. pirates of the Caribbean was one. last time they were here lani and i took them and they cried the whole time, But not this time. also Lexy went on tower of terror. and ravyn went on big thunder mountain railroad.

Wednesday after work lani becky the girls, lea and i all headed down to the westminster mall to go and get lexy's ear pierced an early birthday present. at first she was all excited but then once she got into the chair she was a little nervous, I gave ravyn my camera and told her to take picture that way she was kept busy so that the rest of us could give lexy all the support she needed. once all was said and done lexy told us it really wasn't that bad it just burned of a little bit. so now lexy has newly pierced ears with little pink gemstone earrings!

Thursday night martha lani becky and my mom went to a stampin up class so lea and i babysat the girls. it's funny how you tell a 5 year old you're baby sitting them and their response is.... but i'm not a baby! we all ate dinner then it was time to do lea's hair. i had lea in foils and lexy and ravyn had all my hair stuff spread out all over the table i mean brushes clips combs bowls foil, anything and everything was pulled out of my carrying case and on the table. it was really cute and they had so much fun while lea and i were a little busy. after all it does take some time and effort to look beautiful. once we got everything cleaned up, we ate some ice cream and watched disney's beauty and the beast until bed time at 10pm.

Friday night we went to cosmic bowling at fountain bowl. it didn't start till 11:30 and at first the girls were having a hard time getting anything but gutter balls, then we got a ramp for the little girls which really helped out ravyn, but lexy really started to get the hang of how to throw the ball straight and she was doing pretty good. i think lea was the top bowler, she's the only one who managed to get 2 or 3 strikes! GO LEA!!! after 1 1/2 games ravyn was pooped out so was lea and i, the whole gang thought quitting at 1am was a good time so we left. it sure was a really fun night!

Visitors From OHIO

Becky and her 2 girls Lexy & Ravyn got into town on the 17th and are staying till July 1st. I'm so excited, it's been over 2 years since i've last seen them!!!! I have pictures up of them and bill never have met them always asks "who are these strangers on my walls..." my reply always "these little girls are mine and lani's babies". the last time they were here lexy was about 5 and ravyn was about 2.

well as you can imagine i've been pretty busy hanging out with the girls. Bill only gets to see me if he comes over to lani's or when i'm home to sleep and shower. it's been a go-go-go routine since they got here.

on Friday night lani and i took the the 2 girls to see kung fu panda, that was such a cute movie and the girls really enjoyed it. after the movie we hung out at the arcade for just a little bit, we played air hockey and ravyn won a watch out of a grab machine (i still can't believe she won it). that night the girls were trying to talk me and lani into taking them to see wall.e next weekend. we'll see....

i took off saturday(21) monday(23) and tuesday(24). saturday we got up and went to the mall had lunch and just hung out and shopped. the whole time lexy had to be right next to lani and ravyn had to hold my hand, becky joked that her girls have found new mommys. Sunday bill and i went to church and then headed right over to the Deguire's house to see everyone.

Monday i had the day off but martha and lani worked so after bill and i ran a few errands i picked up Becky lexy and ravyn. we went back to my house did some laundry (martha's washer went out) and went swimming. at first both girls were a little timid to get into the water but after a little coaching and a quick dip in the spa (or whirlpool as ravyn calls it) they were in the pool swimming and splashing all over the place. i taught ravyn how to float on her back using a intertube and kick really hard to get from point A to point B. i had her out towards the deepend just kicking away. she has some powerful little legs. Lexy on the other hand was dunking her head in the water and just doing front flips and twirls all over the shallow end of the pool. after bill got done napping he join in on the fun and the girls thought it was funny to splash him. it really was a fun afternoon and i think the girls loved going swimming, it was a perfect hot summer day.

2nd Year Anniversary

Well as most of you know Bill and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary this past tuesday (17th). We didn't just make it a day of celebrating but a weekend! On sunday bill and i rode our bikes on the beach it was such a beautiful day with a nice breeze we couldn't pass it up. after the bike ride we went to my parents house for father's day dinner.

On Monday the real celebrating happened. Bill and I went out to breakfast and then headed up to LA to go to the Human Body Exhibit called Body Worlds, let me tell you that was a lot of fun and so interesting, my favorite part was the exhibit about fetal growth, i think Bill liked all the educational parts such a smokers lung vs a healthy lung (things like that). after we left the Body worlds exhibit we grabbed a quick lunch and then headed back home. I was pretty tired, the exhibit takes about 2 hours to walk through it all so i wanted to take a nap before going out to dinner.

At about 7pm we went to dinner back to our roots. The Lazy Dog Cafe. this is the restaurant that bill and i 1st went to, to work on a school project. Dinner was wonderful as always and then bill and i exchanged our little gifts. I got him an off duty holster (that he's been eyeing forever but just wouldn't breakdown and buy) and Bill got me two Books that I've been drying to have. over all it was a fantastic day.

Tuesday our actual anniversary, bill sent me flowers (a mini rose bush) at work and was planning on coming up and taking me to lunch but as fate would have it he got called into court and spent the whole day there. =0( but being married to Bill makes life 100% worthwhile.

Update.

Well i've been a little busy and fell behind in blogging our lives..... sorry.

Bill and i hosted a bbq for memorial day, we had a great turn out. Al, Kris, Don, Daniel, Joey, Summer, Ashley, Lani, Robert, Martha, and Greg (shocked i know!!!!) joined us to celebrate. It was a really good time we had hot dogs, hamburgers, polish sausages, and grilled chicken along with my famous and most delicious jell-o dessert!

we got to use our new and improved backyard and fire pit which bill really enjoyed, the weather could have been a little warmer but really in California who can complain about weather. Our guests started to arrive about noon and we kept the party going into the wee hours of the morning. (as a side note: i don't think bill or i have ever head robert talk so much or been as funny as he was that night) at one point after most of our guests left Bill, Robert, Lani and I ran to the market to replenish our supply of snack food and drinks and then preceded to watch many episodes of family guy unfortunately for robert he couldn't hang with the rest of us and fell asleep on the couch.
