My Little Stinker... xoxo

This is how Bill makes me Feel!

Loved and Wanted!

Happy Birthday To Me!

Well this past week was my birthday, and let me tell you i had some fun!
To start off the week Bill, Anneke, and the Parents threw me a surprise birthday party on sunday, it was so much fun and i was truly surprised. All my friends and Family were there that could make it. We had my FAVORITE dinner Corn Beef and Cabbage (mind you i was born right around St patty's Day) after dinner my dad had made two of my favorite cakes (pineapple upside down cake & funfetti cake) and we opened my gifts!
Later that week i went to dinner (CheeseCake Factory) with my Best Friend Lea. it was a lot of fun and a lot of good food.
Then on Thursday Bill set aside the whole day for me! He took me out to brunch to Mimi's Cafe. then we came home hung out for a little bit and then he surprised with a deep tissue massage! It was the best massage I've ever gotten. I can still feel the effects of it. After the massage bill told me it was suppose to be a couples massage (me and him) but someone called in sick. so instead we are going to do the couples massage this coming week! How lucky am i?!? i get two massages a week apart!!!!
To end the evening bill once again surprised me with dinner at The Melting Pot. it's a fondue restaurant. I've always wanted to go there! it was so much fun. we had a four course meal, starting with the appetizer bread, apples, and veggies with cheese fondue dip, next a citrus salad (yummy) then the entree which was fillet Mignon, shrimp, beef, chicken with a Caribbean-season fondue cooking bouillon. last was the dessert, we had milk choc, with a swirl of crunchy peanut better fondue and to dip into that was strawberries, pound cake, banana, marshmallow and brownies!

St Patty's Day

Well after a wonderful dinner with the hubby at hof's hut (my favorite) he went off to work and i headed over to one of my best friends house. There we just hung out talked and made some cards, (she is BIG on anything scrape booking) it was so much fun and I've decided that i like making small homemade projects. So Ladies and Gents this could be a big new thing for me to start doing at night while my hubby pants is working! Yay to finding new ways to keep me busy while Bill is working. I"M SO EXCITED!!!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

OK so i have been re-reading the Harry Potter series and after each book i watch the movie. (it gives me something to do at night while the hubby pants is working) anyhow.... i just finished the 4Th book Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. It was a better book than i remember the first couple times i read it.

So here i am thinking I'll watch the movie tonight and enjoy myself this evening.... WOW was i wrong. i liked the movie but lets just say the only thing it had in common with the book was the title. yes for those of you who have watched and read the movies/books you'll have to agree. it's just a little upsetting that the movie left out some of the best parts in the book. i understand it can't have every little detail that the book has... but i mean this movie left out SO much. one of the best parts is in the beginning of the book when the weasleys go to get harry from his aunt and uncles. movie totally left that all out. sad to say it was quite depressing to watch the movie after i had just finished the book.

so anyway i understand that people don't want to sit through a super long movie (i myself would sit through a 4 hour harry potter movie) but come on look at the Lord of the Rings movies. they were like 3 hours long and the first 2 movies were so boring! i just think the people making the Harry Potter movies should consider trying to stay true to the books. It is a wonderful series to read and very enjoyable. i wouldn't even mind if they broke it up into 2 movies I'd go see it and it wouldn't be a bad marketing move (the Harry Potter fan base is Pretty BIG). well i was just venting about my feelings.

even if you don't read the books the movies are still pretty good and i think everyone should watch them. the series is a great family series, it's something the whole family can do together which i feel is very important these days. families should spend more quality time together, but like I've said before NOTHING beats reading the books.

DisneyLand

Well this past wednesday bill and i went to disneyland california adventure park (bill had never been there). it was quite a lot of fun just spending the day with only him and playing around.

He made me go on the Ferris wheel which if you know me.... i'm deathly afraid of them. there are two different types of buckets on this ferris wheel,
1. there is the red one which doesn't move
2. there are the orange and purple ones that not only goes around but sways back and forth as you go around.
which one do you think bill wanted to go on???? that's right the purple one!
LUCKY ME.
After riding on the ferris wheel we decided to walk through Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. let me tell you it was a lot of fun. we climbed through a suspended tunnel, walked across a treehouse, thought about sliding down the rock slides and rock wall climbing. we ended that trail with bill surfing by the next door kids play ground.
Over all the day was a big success! we both had a lot of fun and we ended our night over at my cousins Kelly and Davy's house eating dinner watching american idol playing with the cute baby lucy and just having a really good time.
A fitting to a perfect day i think!
