Can someone say PAAARTY!!!

For Bill's Big 3-0 we decided we needed to celebrate in style!
Let the weekend festivities begin!

Friday Night I took Bill to dinner at JackShrimp it's one of our favorite spots to go... But we don't make it out there that often. After Dinner we Checked into The Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach. It was a really nice hotel.

After checking in we went down to the Pool & Spa to hang out there for a little bit. It was nice we were the only two people by the pool. After that we went into their little cafe and sat by the fire pit sipping on drinks and listening to a one-man band. I have to say he was pretty entertaining.

Saturday morning we ordered room service, then it was off to the next event i had planned. A couples massage at Skin Deep. This is something that we do for each other at every birthday and anniversary. It's kind of like tradition now! It was a much needed massage...

After the Massages we had some down time to relax and then get ready for the big event... Bill's Birthday Party at House of Brews.

We rented out the VIP room. We had a great turn out. We had food, drinks, pool, and just a lot of good company & Fun. I think Bill really enjoyed his birthday!

To wrap up his birthday my parents had a lovely Sunday dinner at their house for Bill. He sure was spoiled this year!

Thank you to everyone who helped make Bill's 30th special and unforgettable!

Becca the inspiration behind the Blog and Creativity is a long time friend, She has great ideas (her 3 little girls are very lucky) and once in a while really great give-aways!

This time around is a cook/baker's Dream!

She found a little gem of a store called Orson Gygi. That store has everything you could ask for. Rows and rows of Baking Pans... Bulk Candy.... the perfect Molding Chocolates...

"This place is like Disneyland for people who love to cook, bake, entertain and buy hard to find culinary equipment" a quote about the store from Becca..

If you have the chance you really need to check out her blog! It's great, the ideas are never ending and she give great tutorials and fairly easy projects! I've learn quite a bit for Becca!

Thanks Becca for the Great Blog!

The Avi

It's that time again...
Our Annual Trip to the AVI with the OCATV Club!

This year was a little different than last year. First off I didn't get any river pictures... weird i know! Also Bill and I went up a day earlier than we normally do. Half the river was closed due to a wake boarding competition so we couldn't get up to the reeds to try our hand at Greg D's jet ski...(i was bummed out about that) It's one of my favorite things.

We did go to the Mexican restaurant across the Bridge the first night it's tradition after all! And the last night everyone went into Laughlin and we ate at the Prim Rib Room. It was pretty good. Tim, Lea, Bill and I sat at a table together and for dessert we did a speed tasting... we all picked a few desserts and passed it around taking a bite, so that we could taste all of the sweets!

I think my favorite night was The Pool Party night. The Avi had a live band out by the pool and it was pretty fun. Just hanging out with great friends and listen to music all the while making fun of the "weird" groupies and their dancing skills!

Havasu Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend Bill and I got invited by my boss Adrian, to spend it with him and the Lemons at their river house. We drove up after work on Friday and got there about 2am Saturday morning.

Even Though we got there late it didn't stop us from getting up at 6:15 and taking the boat out to try wake boarding. Jason went first and had no trouble, not his first time by any means. next went his cousin Tony, He had some trouble but got up twice. After Tony It was my turn, Lets just say i didn't know what i was doing. I tried 5 times to get up but i just couldn't get the hang of things, so instead of wake boarding i was just dragged behind the boat, it was a sad attempt all together. Bill was the last to try and he just popped right up, like a pro. that was so annoying, what a show off Bill became.

After we had some fun wake boarding we all loaded up, went out found a cove dropped anchor and floated. It was so relaxing. even if the police swung by to give us a hard time....
That night Robert and Adrian took us out on their Buggies. This was the first time I've ever been on one, and man was it fun. Adrian Took Vince, Ashley and Tori, While Robert took Allie, Bill and I. It was a lot of fun!

Sunday we spent the whole day on the water. I took both Allie and Austin out on the jet ski. Allie loved every minute of it. Austin enjoyed it until i did a few donuts, I think it scared him a little, but he still had some fun.
This weekend we were fed like kings, it was a really fun time and I'm glad we got to go out with them. Hopefully this won't be the last time we get invited!
