Sunday Night

Well I got to spend the better part of the day hanging out with Kelly, Davy, and their cute little baby Lucy, while the husband pants was sleeping. We ate dinner and watched the Oscars (what a waste) and stayed up til 3am. We talked about Religion (Kel and Me Vs Davy), we discussed how men think they help out and how sweet it is... but really guys... you usually do more harm.... =0). We discussed when it's the appropriate time for Us girls to have a baby ( i mean being pregnant is no fun if you can't share it with a pregnant girl friend right?!?) Over all it was a good day a lot of fun and I'm so glad i have cousins who are also my best friends like these 2 or should i say 3!

so bored and it's late.....

It's saturday night and i'm at home with nothing to do while Bill is at work. I was spoiled this week because my sweet husband took yesterday off just to be with me(which means only a 3 day work week instead of 4) . It's been hard with his work schedule, because we works the weekend nights and i miss him. My house is just not the same when he's not around. I try to find things to do but most of my friends are out on date night with their manwhiches! So i thought i'll blog. I know it's not news worthy stuff but it gives me something to do, and who know maybe next week i'll find something more exciting to do and write about that...

Europe 2008

London and Paris!
Bill and I went to Europe with the Parents and two other couples this past week. Feb 6th- Feb 14th....
yes i got to spend part of valentines day in Paris!
We arrived in Paris at about 5pm their time and spent 2 1/2 days there. It is a beautiful city and the architecture is amazing. Our first glimpse of the Eiffel Tower was fantastic. It was the first night there while we were taking a boat cruise on the Seine river.
We visited so much of the city in the short period of time we had. We went to Notre Dame walked up the 200+ stairs to the bell tower, visited the Louvre saw the Mona Lisa there (not a big as i thought it would be) drove by the Arc De Triomphe, we spent one day and went out to Versailles to see the Palace of Versailles. We all ate Crepes under the Eiffel Tower as it twinkled with lights.

Next we went to London
We flew into London and wasted no time at all. First we had to find our way to the "tube" the underground. that was a bit tricky since many stops were closed for construction... after a short ride and a couple transfers we made it to our hotel.

Here are a just a few of the things we did...
Went to the tower of london (bill's favorite part), Saw the Family jewels, Met a "Bobby" (Richard Hill) at the Changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, Went to Abbey Road, took pictures in front of the New Scottland Guard building and my favorite thing a walking tour of Jack the Ripper. AMAZING!
After an early tube ride to the airport, a delayed flight to Paris, a missed flight to the USA an extra night in Paris, we made it home late on Valentines day.
