Well Bill and i decided to start a little project for our day off... we gutted our tiny backyard and got it prepped and ready for sod to be laid down, now i have to give credit where credit is due.... Bill really did all the hard labor and he has the blisters to show for it, but i was there cheering him on! Once the soil, and top soil were ready we headed over to home depot and got us some grown grass!!! (sod) it took most of the day but we got it done and it looks great! we can't wait to have some good old BBQ's in our new backyard this summer!
well after the backyard project Bill and I had a date night, it was so much fun. We started out by going to dinner at Finbars in metro point, then we headed over to Color Me Mine and made a little something to put in our new backyard, and we ended the night with a movie. Over all it was a wonderful but busy week!

this was the little guy we made. we painted symbols on his back that represented Bill and I. It was really fun, some of the symbols on him are: sheriff star, shears, our wedding date, a crab(for bill) and GET 1 (my job)

You two are so much fun! Way to go laying the sod and grass. So impressed!! I love that you have a little back yard too. That is fabulous!! Bill you did a great job. And to end with a fun date night . . .even better!

Wow, yeah a lot of hard work really paid off, since we had a nice BBQ there with you guys and the SMORES were DELISH!! :) Glad to see you making progress on your place. And I LOVE the Turtle! GET 1- Hilarious! ;)
Wow, planting grass. That is great. As you know, or will soon find out it is hard to grow, especially the nice thick kind that grows on GOLF COURSES! As a non golfer I am sure you do not realize that most courses have what we call a "90 DEGREE RULE" that means you drive ON THE GOLF CART PATH then cut directly across the green to where you need to be. We also have a rule that you should ask to "PLAY THROUGH" if you are going to interupt another players golf game. If your not a golfer stay off the course and wait till all players have cleared the course before you drive all over the place to recover the "heart attack victim" otherwise stay in the air conditioned police car and eat another DONUT!
