"D" day

"D" day as in.... D-O-G.

Yes... we got a dog, a 4 year old German Shepard from the Netherlands who speaks Dutch. His name is PERRO.

Bill finally got the K9 spot at work and I couldn't be more proud of my man. These next five years are going to be a roller coaster of a ride, but I'm sure excited to begin this adventure with Bill and Aiden.

Jennifer's Graduation Party

We were invited to a graduation party for Bill's cousin Jennifer. She graduated with her Bacholer in Philosophy from UC Irvine.

The party was hosted at Newport Dunes. It was a great time meeting up with all of Bill's family that lives in CA. His Uncle Gary & Aunt Ellen Came into town from San Jose, and we were lucky enough to have them stay with us! I seriously loves these two so much! *side note: it was Gary's bday*  This was also the first time for most of the family to meet Aiden! He sure did love all the attention.

10 Year Reunion

I had my 10yr High School Reunion tonight. It wasn't a very eventful evening as the original plan fell through. We ended up having it at local sports bar in Anaheim. I was kind of disappointed because I was looking forward to seeing some old friends.

There was only about a handful of people that went and most of them i didn't even know or remember from high school. It's a bummer because i remember going to Bill's reunion and how much fun it was. Hopefully we have a 20 yr reunion and it turns out better!

Brian Donald Kingsbury

Brian Kingsbury
Beloved Husband, Dad, Son, Friend and son of God

April 3, 1966 - July 5, 2011

God Saw You Getting Tired
anonymous

God saw you getting tired,
and a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "Come to me."

With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you pass away
and although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating
When He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful;
He only takes the best.

Bill's oldest brother Brian had been battling cancer for the past 2 years and on July 5th He lost the battle and passed away. Brian was surround by his family and loved ones as he life this mortal life and joined His Father in Heaven. His wife Yolanda, their 2 boys Ethan and Adam His parents Al and Kathy his stepmother Sharon and his 3 siblings Kristin, Eric and Bill were all gathered together to say their final goodbyes.

Brian was an extraordinary human being, He was so full of life and people loved to be around him. He always had interesting stories to tell and if you got him talking about computers you could never keep up. He was a very intelligent man and I personally would have to stop him in mid sentence and tell him to "dumb" it down I had no idea what he was talking about half the time.

Brian will be missed dearly but never forgotten. He has touch and changed so many lives. WE LOVE YOU and WE WILL MISS YOU BRIAN.

Jenny's Formal

My youngest sister Jenny had a formal dance tonight and she asked me to do her hair and make-up. I love spending time with my sisters, and being able to help them get ready for special occasions like these! Jenny has such style and knows what look she wants, even if it's a little of the beaten path.  We went shopping for formal dress at a few department stores in the mall, but she found her dress at a vintage shop on main street and i think it fits her perfectly.
The dance theme was a masquerade ball and she being crafty made her and her dates masks. they came out so good. It's crazy to think that my "baby" sister is all grown up and going to be an adult this year!

SuperBowl Sunday 2011

Every year Bill and I spend super bowl sunday with our friends and fellow members of OCATV.

It's always such a fun and enjoyable evening with this great group of people. Bill and I aren't very big sports fans but super bowl is something we never miss, unfortunately our team the steelers didn't win (cheering them on for one reason... because Bill is from PA) none the less it was super!

Elise's HighSchool Graduation!

My little sister Elise graduated from high school today! We are so proud of her!

CONGRATULATIONS ELISE!!!

After 12 years of school and watching my little sister grow up, she is now officially an adult. I'm excited to be there and support her on this adventure that she is about to take on. I know she will be successful in whatever she does! WOW I can't believe my little sister is all grown up!

This is the first graduation for a sibling that I've been able to attend, it started at 5pm but my parents being the very wise people that they are.... we didn't arrive at the school until 630pm. Now you all must be thinking... "what the heck?" My parents planned it perfectly, we missed the L-O-N-G- boring speeches and showed up just in time for the student body to receive their diplomas. It worked out great!

Prom 2010

Elise and Nick Go to Prom.
My younger sister Elise went to her senior prom this past weekend with her friend Nick. She looked beautiful and I loved his shoes!

They double dated with AJ & Cory. The evening started out with an Italian dinner for 4 at my parents house. Janette and Paige were their servers. It was a pretty nice and elegant set-up. Then it was off to the prom for a night full of dancing and hanging out with friends!

Eagle Court of Honor

Nick made Eagle Scout!
That's Right now both my Brothers are Eagle Scouts. I'm so Proud of them! Nick's Court of Honor was really fun. All the Sisters, his girlfriend, and family friend sang "America the Beautiful" as part of the Program. Also Bill was lucky enought to give a small speech acting on behalf of the Department. He did a great job!

WHS Class 1998 Reunion!

Saturday the 22nd was Bill's 10 year high school reunion. It was held at Lucky Strike Bowling Alley at the Block of Orange. It was really a lot of fun, and great food!

The Graduating class size was just over 300, and about 85 people ended up going to the reunion. We had the "banquet" room all to ourselves. The banquet room consisted of 6 bowling lanes, a lounge area and a photo booth. Bowling and all the food was included except for Drinks. They Served Pizza (which was SO good), Steak strewers, and a veggie platter.

Once Bill and I showed up, we met up with some of his oldest friends who we still keep in contact with, Ryan and Kurtis. Kurtis, his girlfriend Andrea Bill and I all bowled 2 games, i won both by a landslide! It helps that 1. i wasn't drinking and 2. i used to bowl every tuesday night.

After we Bowled, ate, and mingled the night away, the reunion was coming to a close... So what do WHS graduates do you ask??? We all head over to the local Sports Bar Michael's and keep the reunion going!

It's funny how 10 years can change certain people SO much and then others look the exact same. I know Bill and I probly look the same as we did in High School. It was a real treat for me to meet some of these people bill hung out with, i now can put faces to the stories i've heard. I'm so proud of Bill, He got to fulfil his dream by becoming a cop, something every person there remembered that was all he wanted to do while in high school. Life truly doesn't get better than this!

the night would not have been complete without ryan taking his shoes off at the bar, and then ending up sleeping in our spare bedroom!
