Happy Independence Day!

This year for the 4th of July, I went to Reedley, CA to float down the Kings River with Jerry Lord and his family. It was SO much fun, I can't wait til next year, I think this has now become a 4th of July tradition for me! Yay!

We had a group of about 13 people.
-Me
-Jerry, Amanda and her husband Troy & Trevor
-Josh, Karri and her Mom
-Kim and Zoey
-Donny
-Jason and Lisa
I have to say we were floating in style but there were some people on the river in these elaborate boats and tubes, maybe next year I'll be geared up like them.

One of my favorite things on the river was stopping to eat lunch and swing off the rope swing into the river, I did it about 5 times! I still need to pratice and perfect the art, but i'm determined to do a flip next year! hahaha we'll see....

Okay and now for the overload on pictures!

Sunday Funday

Sunday Funday! This weekend I went to visit some of my favorite people, who just happen to be family as well...
It's been awhile since I've seen Davy & Kelly and their cute little kids. So off i went to have a nice sunday afternoon with them.

When i got there i thought Lucy didn't remember me (she's always a little shy right off the bat) but she was being really shy this time around. But Kelly told me "oh mia she remembers you... when ever we tell her you're coming to visit she'll ask when is aunt mia coming" YAY!

I seriously love that little girl to pieces! I just wanna eat her up.

She was wearing the cutest apron and chef hat when i got there, I just had to take a picture! We ended up bbq-ing and eating outside because it was just so nice out. then after playing with the kids, getting them in the bath, and off to bed. The adults got to relax and watch a episode of TRUE BLOOD.... Me Davy and Kelly LOVE that show! and this season is going to be AWESOME!!!

here are a couple of pictures i got of Lucy and Chuck before we put them to bed... so cute those little faces!

Kelly and Davy make the most beautiful kids! they're going to be heart breakers!

Lucy loves looking through my purse and she always gets out my camera, this little 2 year is quite the smarty pants... I think we have a photographer on our hands.. hahaha

these last four picture were taken by lucy herself without help...

Family Movie Night

I sometimes blog about movies or books that I have recently watched/read.

Well tonight as a family we watched When in Rome. I wasn't to thrilled on the idea when Anneke (who's in town visiting) brought it home, But i have to say it was a pretty darn cute movie.

It was a whole lot better than i expected, I'm actually thinking of buying this movie and adding it to my "sappy chick flick" list. It was a fun night in with the family and an entertaining movie for us all.

so if you're looking for a cute fun movie i suggest check this one out. you and your main squeeze can enjoy it together!

Four Years...

Today Bill & I celebrated our 4th year anniversary, Man I can't believe we've been married for 4 years already. Time really does fly by when you get older! hahaha.

Unfortunately, because today was also my sister's graduation and my camera died taking a ton of pictures of her I wasn't able to get a single one of Bill and I.

to celebrate our anniversary we went to dinner at Lazy Dog Cafe (has a little bit of special meaning to us...) we exchanged gifts and headed home. Bill was sweet to me and gave me a certificate for a massage and a movie I wanted. I gave him a Knotts pass and clothes.

Elise's HighSchool Graduation!

My little sister Elise graduated from high school today! We are so proud of her!

CONGRATULATIONS ELISE!!!

After 12 years of school and watching my little sister grow up, she is now officially an adult. I'm excited to be there and support her on this adventure that she is about to take on. I know she will be successful in whatever she does! WOW I can't believe my little sister is all grown up!

This is the first graduation for a sibling that I've been able to attend, it started at 5pm but my parents being the very wise people that they are.... we didn't arrive at the school until 630pm. Now you all must be thinking... "what the heck?" My parents planned it perfectly, we missed the L-O-N-G- boring speeches and showed up just in time for the student body to receive their diplomas. It worked out great!
